Generate Template doesn't have an edit option.

Issue: When using Generate Template there is no edit option, only AI prompt or download.
Product: Adobe Express (Web)
Platform: Chrome (latest version)

Steps:

  • Generate Template
  • Prompt the template you want created
  • Generates 4 options
  • Click on one option
  • Only have two options here: Download (which downloads a .png or Edit with AI - there is no manual edit option)
  • Expected: An option so you can manually update the template yourself
    Actual: Only have two here: Download (which downloads a .png or Edit with AI - there is no manual edit option)

    Thanks for reporting this. Do you mind sharing the kinds of edits you were hoping to perform on the generated design? I assume you found the “Edit with AI” option inadequate.


    If possible, please also share a screenshot or downloaded version of the design (you can DM me if you prefer).

    Hi, I recorded the process - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zsGVLP_q86V5dhPrPDVhhEp0PGRAjyYX/view?usp=sharing  and attached the download. It’s not that AI can’t help with editing, it’s the fact that I can’t save the design anywhere, I either edit it with AI or download it as an uneditable png or lose the design. If I wat to reuse it, update later or add finishing touches to it - change fonts as photos etc, I can’t do any of this.
