Help! Been waiting 2 hrs for video to render - download still says Wait

Making a simple but 9.5 minute slide show video for a memorial.  TIME CRUNCH.  On Mac,  Adobe Express online, When I click Download or share, I get "We are working on your file. You'll be able to download it soon". But it's been 2 hours!  This can't be right.  I'm a premium member.  (Actually an Adobe retiree-- after 20 wonderful years there). Say I didn't lose all that work, PLEASE!

Just to add, I'm using Safari.  But tried Chrome and it was clear all the edits I did this morning were not saved yet to the cloud.  I did try to close the project once and the message was that AutoSave hadn't finished.  So of course I didn't close.
