How do I make image thumbnails in right panel large enough to see?

Hi Community!

I'm using Adobe Express to animate my art for Instagram reels in which one image fades into another and another, etc.. Whether I'm working on my MacBook (browser version) or iPad (app), I find the thumbnails so small it's hard to know what image I'm selecting to drop into the scene. Even when I use the browser's zoom capability to enlarge the page, the thumbnail sizes remain fixed, and I can't find any preferences or options that could potentially address this.

Attached are screen shots from my iPad and Mac showing what I'm working on: a series of images I created, each a subtle variation within a series of artistic works I'm experimenting with. It would be so helpful be able to differentiate one from another without having to keep shuffling the deck. Even the ability to label the layers would be helpful! The workarounds are time-consuming and prone to user error.

Thank you for any assistance with this.

Thank you, Amitej, however, the browser-level zoom only enlarges the page elements, i.e. the row of icons at the top and running down left side of page. The size of the image on the stage and accompanying thumbnails do not enlarge, and in fact, the stage size will shrink as the page elements get bigger! When I use the dedicated zoom, only the stage image increases in size (see attached at 400% magnification), and fwiw, the view reverts to a default of 12% the moment you click anywhere on the timeline or try to run the animation.

Thank you for the link to the product team 🙂

Hi @MOWADesign12006859, thanks for reaching out! I'd also like to add that on a desktop browser, if you change the zoom settings to the browser level (not the Adobe Express app level), you might be able to get the bigger layer thumbnails.

As shown in the screenshot, 90% is the browser zoom setting. This would apply to every page opened in browser tabs and also to the Adobe Express window.

However, the 22% in the screenshot refers to the zoom setting of just the Adobe Express canvas space.

Also, feel free to drop a feature request for the same directly to our product team by posting here: https://adobe.ly/414reL4

Hope this helps!

Best,

Amitej

Hi @MOWADesign12006859,

Thanks for your detailed message and screenshots — they really help clarify the issue. We’ve shared your feedback with the product team as an important usability concern. While there’s no current option to enlarge thumbnails or label layers, you might try organizing your images with clear file names before importing to help identify them more easily. We understand how valuable these features would be and are exploring improvements. We’ll keep you updated!
