FPL Team Badge — “Adobe Express is currently unavailable”

I’m trying to generate a team badge in Fantasy Premier League (Pick Team page). The Adobe Express panel loads and shows the gallery/example badges, but at the bottom it displays: “Adobe Express is currently unavailable.”

• Started: yesterday, still happening now

• Tried on: both mobile (PL app) and desktop browser — same result on both

• Tried: clearing cache, incognito/private mode, different times of day

• Screenshot attached showing the exact message

Would appreciate an update on whether this is a known outage.

I want to respond to this thread properly, because I’ve read all of it and the frustration is fair. Losing the ability to write your own prompt takes away creative control, and I’m not here to pretend the current presets replace that experience for people who wanted something more specific.

Here’s what happened: the custom prompt was pulled because a small number of prompts were being used to generate harmful/inappropriate content, and the team had to act quickly to protect the experience for everyone using it - including the vast majority who wanted to make a cool, fun unique badge for their team.

I’ve sent this thread to the internal team that covers this project, so they can see the impact. They are actively working on the next version of badge creation, with the goal of hopefully bringing back that creative control that doesn’t reopen the door to misuse.

They’re interested in connecting with a few of you, and I’ll have details soon on how we can make that happen.

It looks like an issue with the Adobe Express integration rather than your device, especially since it happens on both mobile and desktop. Since you’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, hopefully Adobe or FPL can confirm the outage and restore the badge feature soon.

Hi everyone!

Good news: the missing Prompt box isn't a bug, so you can stop troubleshooting it. We've updated the badge creator to work from a curated set of designs - instead of writing a free-form prompt, you pick a style and personalize it to your taste.

The idea is to make it a faster and more reliable way to get a badge you're happy with, especially with the deadline coming up. So the flow is a little different now, and it's a faster and more reliable way to produce a badge ahead of the deadline!

Appreciate your patience, and thanks again for the detailed reports.

I dont think that is a good news, after waiting un patiently for few days and being excited to do our own badge, and today finally the day came and we cant do what we want, even the smallest thing which writing initials is not possible. Im so shocked and im definitely not happy about it and i prefer to stay without a badge.

@Rose DV Basically you couldn’t fix it so you removed the feature. Saying it was done “for better user experience” is condescending to users - just say you don’t want to support it and it’s ok.

@Adorable_selff1ec I can access it now (after cleaning cache). One thing though - I can’t create a new badge, I can only select one from the list of offered badges. Is this expected? Attaching screenshots of my interface.

Tested everywhere and can confirm - the “Prompt” text box is no longer available. So the issue still remains. cc @Rose DV
