icons not loading - also can no longer use the Align tool (grayed out)

I have tried Google Chrome regular and incognito plus Firefox - all have the same issues. I have tried more than one project.

When I select an icon to add - it just spins and a message appears at the bottom that it was not able to add it. I can add a shape but not an icon.  just spinning blue circle. I don't even get the error message at the bottom of the screen anymore.

Around the same time, I suddenly could no longer access the Align option. It was working fine then became grayed out.

The lack of icons stops me from using the product for my project.

After I received notice from my IT department that they had enabled the Adobe network endpoints, I tried it again without success - still seeing the spinning blue circle unable to load. I also tried it in an incognito window.

Thanks for letting us know about this

If you're on a VPN, try disabling it and check again to see if that helps. If it doesn't help, I'd recommend reaching out to and working with our support directly as a next step. They can be reached here: https://adobe.ly/4hVICIc

Thank you - I forwarded your message to my network administrators. I did discover that it works fine when I disconnect from my work wifi and use my personal hotspot.

FYI on a slightly unrelated issue - I don't like in the latest updates that the align option has been taken off the main toolbar. It is hard to find now with multiple clicks required.

For the align option, I'd suggest you submit your request here- https://adobe.ly/3CJDZC7 as this page is being monitored by our product team.

I am having the same issue. I have tried adding an icon and instead of adding it in as a new layer I get the spinning wheel of death where I have added it into the graphic. I am attaching an example, the question mark in the bottom right is what I added. As you can see on the right bar, it is not in the layers.  I have tried Safari and google chrome. Restarting, different machines and clearing cache and cookies.

Hi

Welcome to the community! Thanks for trying the steps so far. If you're still encountering this issue,  please make sure that the network endpoints listed on https://adobe.ly/3Qdm2ia are allowed.

Let us know if that helps.

I hoped waiting a couple of days and trying again would resolve the issue but it has  not. I am still not able to use the icons from the elements menu. The align option is still grayed out even after selecting the text box.

Hey @KristyInstructor, Are you still unable to work with icons? I just tried to replicate it and was able to work without any issues on a Windows 11 machine with Google Chrome and Firefox as well.

However the align option appears on the lest side panel when you select an icon. (please refer the screenshot)

Let me know if its still not working for you.

Thanks,

Amitej
