Images becoming pixelated after creating a project

My images become pixelated after I create a project in Adobe Express. Currently working on a Facebook post/carousel utilizing my Creavive Cloud Images from the "Your Stuff" library. The Images will be prefect, I will then add audio and/or animation and make sure it auto saves again before I close out of the project. The problem occurs when I open the completed project at a later time. The images become pixelated. They are still pixelated even when I replace them. This is the case when I open up other projects as well. This has been happpening for a few weeks now. I'm using AE on my Mac laptop. I've tried waiting a few minutes for it load, replacing the image, refreshing my browser, duplicating project, erasing history, restarting computer.. I'm not sure what else to do?
