Incomplete designs - Missing type

Why does every time I open AE my designs are incomplete. Usually it's the type that is missing and I can't get the type to load? I typically have to restart my machine, duplicate the design, and then often it doesn't even fix it. Why?

Hi @Arrrow 

 

Do you at least see empty text boxes in the Layers widget, or when you perform the Select All keyboard shortcut (CMD+A or CTRL+A)? And are you using an custom fonts?
