Incorrect storage size of Express Webpage

I have created a webpage with less than 1GB of Photos as well as some text and links to youtube however it is stored as a 5.6GB in my Cloud Storage, how can that be ? Why is it being inflated so much?

Is that Adobe’s attempt to get me to upgrade my storage (i’m on a 2TB plan already) ?

I created a new Express Webpage with 948.5mb of images, these are placed in various photogrids, nothing else fancy, just some accompanying text. The final published size of the webpage is 5.45GB - how is that even possible?

There is something wrong with this product and you are scamming customers into buying storage when you clearly are not storing the content correctly or efficiently. It is quite frankly a robbery for some basic html.

I also noticed that the file sizes have been greatly inflated since the “New” version of Express was launched, prior to that the file sizes are closer to the raw photo size.

I have been using this product for almost 5 years.

my express wont work, 403 forbidden errors (most likely related to storage) I have been forced to delete 8GB of Express files to get it to work again. Still no response from Adobe.

I have now REPLACED that same cover photo with a smaller photo 4.11mb and the size of the webpage has now INCREASED to 24.5MB

    WTF is going on Adobe

I have deleted the cover photo now so the webpage is black and this is the file size now

I then added back the same 4.1 mb cover photo and the file size has increased, is a bug of the version control or undo feature?

I have created a blank webpage and here is the recorded file size (34kb)

I have added a cover photo that is 6.1mb but look what adobe shows (12.8mb)

I havent published the page yet so there cant be any version control that is adding fat. This looks to be a serious bug and one that causes your customers to have to pay for additional storage that they dont need.

Given i’ve been waiting two weeks for this issue to be resolved and the lack of storage space / being able to clean up my own storage space, i’m quite upset at Adobe’s lack of support.
