Interface un-usable

Every time I try and edit a graphic, text, or anything for that matter, the blue adjustable "edit box" surrounding the figure flies up out of the screen. It then overloads the webapp and crashes it after a few minutes. This has been a persistent problem and I am unable to use this service at all. A solution would help. Thanks.
