Letters turned to glyphs

When going from Adobe Acrobat to Express, multiple letters turn into glyphs.
Font used: Calibri.
Common prolem letter combos: ff, ti, in, tt
Example: compe•tor, wri•ng, interac•on, a©en•on, ma©er
Sometimes it changes the word altogether like Left turns to "LeL"

This has been very frustrating when trying to add a few graphic design aspects to a doccument.
When transitioning from one program to the next, especially when it is recommended in the program itself, I would not expect to have to go through and proof everything and retype things all over again just to add graphic elements.

Hi @Melinda_Piekstra9933,

Thanks for sharing the detailed example. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to see text change into glyphs when moving your document from Acrobat into Express, especially when you’re just trying to add design elements.

To help us dig deeper, could you let me know a bit more about your workflow?

  • Does this issue appear only with Calibri, or have you noticed it with other fonts as well?

  • Roughly how large/complex is the file (e.g., mostly text, or a mix of images and graphics)?

These details will help us understand if the issue is tied specifically to the font, the export method, or how Express is interpreting the PDF.

Regards,

Tarun
