Library installed Adobe Font won't work on Express

Hi. I'm trying to use an Adobe Font on Express. Installing on CC didn't do the trick, but then I saw the "Save to Library" option and I thought that had to be it. After that it did show up on Express, but nothing happens when I try to apply it. It appears as selected but just displays the previous font. I tried everything, uninstall and install again, signed out and back in, tried on Chrome, Safari and mobile App. It's consistently the same problem. I have to say not being able to use an Adobe Font on Adobe Express is pretty frustrating! It's the very reason I picked an Adobe font so I could easily use it across its platforms. I came across a lot of people having similar problems without any solutions. Now my hands are tied and can't create my content like I planned to. Please fix this bug!

Thanks so much for your patience, and we're really sorry for the frustration this has caused.

It looks like the font you're trying to use might be a variable font, and currently, Adobe Express doesn't fully support variable fonts, even if they appear in your Library. That’s why it seems selected but doesn’t actually apply in your project.

We understand how important it is to have seamless font access across Creative Cloud, and we’re actively working on improving this experience. In the meantime, we recommend trying a non-variable version of the same font (if available) or selecting another from the Adobe Fonts library that’s confirmed compatible with Express.
