Lightroom CC integration

Why am I not able to select images from my Lightroom CC. That was possible in the "old" Spark-Pages but it is not possible in the New Express. Downloading my cloud based images from Lightroom to then upload them again to Express seems a little 2005...

This isn't a new feature request. This is something that used to work great but has been broken since the "new" Express was released. How long has that been now?

 I used to be a huge fan of Express Webpages. In 2018 I taught three sessions of a well attended lab at Adobe MAX, Storytelling with Lightroom and Express. I haven't built an Express Webpage since the feature was removed. 

I added my vote to the "feature request" site. This is my second time voting for it, because Webpage feature request was recently moved to a new link. I assume this effectively reset the vote count. I'm so disappointed, and I've lost any hope the feature will be brought back.
