LinkedIn connection

LinkedIn connection only offers old job or personal profile. Have tried connecting to both of these and disconnecting to reset it but no luck. It's been a number of weeks and i've reported this a few times.

Hi,

This seems to be related to an issue Im having. A linkedIn page im no loger associated with (old company) is showing when I connect from Adobe Express, Ive tried everything but its still there. The issue is that I cant connect to my own profile. I keep getting an error. I even contacted the old company to see if they have anything set up on thier end... they dont. Please help because I cant post anything to LinkedIn as I cant connect my account.

You may have already tried this but are you able to just delete/remove the old companies LinkedIn Page? Could you explain what happens when you try? Also sharing screen shots might help too.

Hi @Carlaxm , this issue will likely be on LinkedIn's end as opposed to Adobe Express's end. A possible solution could be to create a new LinkedIn account and add this new profile as an admin on this Company page. You can then try connecting through these credentials. Hi @Andy Lambert unfortunately your solution isn't working for me as my LinkedIn shows that I only manage one page, my new company page. I removed my old company page about 5-6 months ago now but it is still the only one (other than my personal account) that's showing as available to link with Adobe Express. I really need to get this resolved, please help.

Hi @Carlaxm , this will be due to LinkedIn permissions. If you click your LinkedIn profile, you should see pages that you are an admin of on the left (see screenshot) . If you disconnect your connection and re-connect, it should show all of those pages you can connect to.

Hi @Andy Lambert i'm having the same issue apart from it's not a private page. I'm an admin on the page on LinkedIn and no longer an admin of the old one, yet it still shows only the old one. Is there a way to reset this?

Hi @Kaleigh33767389am7x , LinkedIn doesn't support group publishing through 3rd party tools, only publishing to a Personal or Company page. That will be the core reason

Yes, it's the correct login and I'm listed as an admin/owner of the group. But it is a "private" group. Could that be the reason it's not showing up?

Hey @Kaleigh33767389am7x , two things to check as all seems to be working correctly. 

 

1. Are you logging in to the right LinkedIn account when you go to connect?

2. Are you certain that you are the admin of the pages you want yo connect too?

This exact thing is happening to me. It shows my personal and a previous company profile, but not the current one.
