Live erase restore not working again

In Adobe Express (both online and through the app) the  erase /  restore function is not working again. If you load an image and use erase or restore the very first time it works. But any time after that,  you can’t see what your brush is erasing or restoring -- making the function unuseable. You can only see the results of the erase / restore AFTER you have closed the function. We had this exact same bug at the end of January which made the function unusable for a week. Then they fixed it. Now it has returned. It would be great to know how long it is going to take to fix this time.

    Hi @benm82530855,

We’re sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with the Erase / Restore tool. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially since you encountered a similar issue earlier that was resolved and now appears to have returned.

I tested this on my end and the erase/restore preview seems to be working as expected. To help us investigate further, could you please share a screen recording showing the behavior you’re seeing? It would also be helpful to know whether this happens with all designs or only a specific one, and whether you’re seeing it with uploaded images, Adobe Stock images, or both.

Additionally, does the issue occur consistently after the first successful use of the Erase/Restore tool in a session?

If you haven’t already tried this, please test the behavior in a different supported browser such as Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Google Chrome, and also try using the browser’s incognito or private mode to see if that makes any difference.

You can also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, restarting the browser, and then testing again. Instructions for clearing cache and cookies are available here: https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF, and steps for using incognito mode can be found here: https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Tarun
