Could you check the following known issue:

Issue	Workaround
Uploading a file from the device failed (Android).	When uploading a file from your Android device, upload may fail when selecting Photos, Videos, Take a photo, or Record a video. As a workaround, you can select Upload from device > Choose file to upload a file from your Android device.

Also, is it possible the photo does not meet requirements here?

Formats accepted	JPG, PNG
Maximum resolution at import	8k x 8k
Maximum size at import	40MB
Maximum number of images that can be uploaded to a single page of a file	100
