No matter what picture I load, I get the message “ Sorry we were unable to remove the background from this image. Please try re-uploading your asset.” It started about a week ago. Now nothing works.

Already described it. Been reported by others multiple times. Still not fixed.

    Hi ​@Hheatherhansen, Sorry you're hitting this issue! 

    Are you using the Remove Background quick action or are you trying it in the editor window?

    Could you try opening Adobe Express in an Incognito/Private window, or in a different supported browser, to see if the behavior changes? It would also help to clear your browser cache and cookies before testing again.

    Also, let us know if you're connected to a VPN, using a workplace network, or have an active firewall, as these can sometimes interfere with Adobe Express services.

    If the issue continues, could you share:

    • The browser and version you're using.
    • A screen recording of the workflow, if possible.

    Once we have these details, we'll be able to investigate further.
