Not able to download selected pages of PDF

Hi,

 

For the past few months, I've been unable to donwload specific PDF pages from a document on Adobe Express.

The issues goes like this:

> Select specific pages on the bottom row

> Go to download, select PDF from the format dropdown (PNG is default selection)

> This automatically selects all pages

> I tick the selected pages only tickbox

> This highlights only the last page I was on

> I select the specific pages again from the bottom

> This defaults back to PNG file format

 

And so on, stuck in this loop. Any awareness of this issue or fixes? Clearing browser cache etc. has no effect.

The solution of going to "view all pages" and selecting pages from there works.

However I'm sure you used to be able to select the pages you wanted to download by selecting them from the bottom row of the default screen, as in the video provided. This would make sense from a UX perspective as there's less clicks to get to get the desired action, and you can also shift + select to select multiple pages in a row, rather than having to tick each page seperately as you do in the "view all pages" mode.

But this works for now. Thanks.

    The tip @Amitej S shared is a good one! A couple of additonal notes:

    • If, in the All pages mode, you find that switching format selection from png/jpeg to PDF messes with your page selection (automatically switches it to All pages), you can manually re-select the Selected pages option.
    • The product team is reconsidering this behavior, so this workaround will not be needed.

    Hi @Tori360565538msg, thanks for sharing the details and the video. It seems to be an expected product behavior. 

    If you want to download a specific page (single) from multiple pages as a PDF, you'd need to be on that page and perform the export workflow mentioned above in the original post. 

     

    If you're looking to download multiple pages as a PDF, you can follow these steps:

     

    1. Click on the View all pages option (4 boxes) in the bottom right corner ( refer to screenshots)
    2. Click the check boxes of the pages you want to export
    3. Go to download > select PDF > and export the pages.
