Our fonts are no longer working

I am on a shared education account, and our university's custom fonts are no longer working ... even after we re-uploaded them to our library! I can see them in the dropdown of font options, but I can't actually use them. I get a message saying font is view only (see screenshot). They work fine in other Adobe applications like Photoshop, but not in Express. Our IT help desk can't help because it's an Adobe issue. Incredibly frustrating - this needs to be fixed!
