Images are visible while editing, but disappear in Preview/Present mode. Fonts are not behaving/rendering as they normally do.

Business-critical issue – Adobe Express

I am experiencing multiple issues in Adobe Express desktop that are affecting active customer deliverables (websites).

  1. Images are visible while editing, but disappear in Preview/Present mode.
  2. Fonts are not behaving/rendering as they normally do.
  3. My projects is not visible in my normal Edge session, although they do appear in Edge InPrivate and in Chrome. I have tested different browsers and cleared Adobe site data. The issue is still affecting my workflow.

These are existing customer projects and I am concerned about making changes while the rendering is unreliable.

    Hi @creative_Palettefb49,

Thanks for flagging you're seeing it too. Images not showing in published Express webpages has come up more than once, and there are a few reports of image-rendering issues in Express pages that we're currently looking into - so it's on our radar.

This particular thread is quite old and has collected a lot of different cases over the years, so to make sure I'm chasing the right thing - can you share what you're seeing?:

→ Do the images show while you're editing, and only disappear on the published page? Or are they missing everywhere?
→ Is it every image, or only some?
→ Roughly when did you publish the page that's missing them?

That'll help me tell whether it's the same issue we're already investigating or something separate.

My school (I am the Assistant Tech Director) is having the same issue with published Express pages. The images are user uploaded, not stock, some of them display, but not all. There are both text and images and the text does display.

It appears that the first images display and then the remaining ones (either individual posts or grids) are blank. If I click on the blank space where a grid or image should be, I only see the loading swirl icon. The students see their images as they are working. Our sites are only viewable to people in our domain, so sending a link probably will not help. We have plenty of storage.
