Paste button on Text does not work

The right-click menu for copy/paste is working at the moment only on the whole text object, but not when in edit mode.

@Corina Murgila  I'm running into the same problem. I have always used my mouse to copy and paste. Right click and choose on pop-up menu. That does not seem to be an option anymore as when you right click nothing happens.  I was able to Google what the keyboard shortcut is for cut, copy and paste. I'm assuming the shortcuts you gave is for MAC . On a Windows keyboard, it is Ctrl+C for Copy, Ctrl+X for Cut and Ctrl+V for Paste. Thanks for getting me going in the right direction though. It'd sure be nice to have the right click for pop-up menu option back! Thanks

Sorry to hear that the experience is far from being ideal for you but please know that we are genuinely committed to addressing the problems you are facing.

If I got this right from you, the context menu is indeed not available when inside a text box. For copying text inside a text box please use Cmd+C/Cmd+V.
