PDF crash after exporting from Adobe Express

I have completely designed these files in Adobe Express to test whether this program would work well for my customers. Unfortunately, that is not yet the case.

I can easily export the file to PDF. Unfortunately, I cannot set anything here, for example Low resolution. So I have to compress the PDF afterwards. When I then email the file and open it on my iPhone, the file constantly disappears/falls out. When I send it to WhatsApp, it crashes even faster. When I open it on my phone via Dropbox, it works well.

Furthermore, the link link would also be a nice option if you could view it in full screen. Unfortunately, this is not possible. See screenshot.

Does anyone have a good solution for me? Or is this just a bug in the program?

Hopefully this can be resolved quickly, because otherwise this would really be a good solution for my customers.

Kind regards, Frank

Hi Tarun,

Thanks for your reply!

The files are in my first post. But i have good news, i find out what the problem was. I imported the brand assets from Indesign CC Library. Express had a problem with one of those assets:

I saved this asset as SVG and imported it direct in Express. Now it works fine. So the connection/collaboration between the programs does not work perfectly yet. So when you import these types of files into Express you should get a message saying that this may cause problems.

Regards, Frank

P.s. how can i set this post as resolved?

Hi

@Frank BAOLD

,

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. To begin with, could you please answer some of the questions below-

  1.  Does the PDF crash on multiple iPhones or just one?
  2.  What is the iOS version and iPhone model experiencing these issues?
  3.  Are you getting any error messages when the file crashes?
  4.  Can you please elaborate more on this- {the link link would also be a nice option if you could view it in full screen. Unfortunately, this is not possible. }
  5.  Did you try exporting the file to another browser?
  6.  Can you share an example of the problematic PDF to examine the technical details?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun,

Thanks for your comment!
I found the problem. There were CC library eps assets in it. These were causing the problems. But these shouldn't really give any problems. Or I should get an error message beforehand.

Met creatieve groet, Best regards,
