photoshop express new interface is GARBAGE

Update to photoshop express on windows...

What did you people DO?? It used to be so easy to just go into photoshop express and, say, remove a piece of dust from an image. Now, the AI tool is crap, leaving a giant black hole, the eraser doesn't work, it's all obscenely slow and crashes at the easiest task and you can't change even the background or theme to dark mode to actually see detail on darker photos!

BRING BACK THE OLD INTERFACE and get rid of this rubbish!

Agree that the new interface is clunkier.  My biggest problems are that I am having problems opening some RAW files (I keep getting errors and it crashes) and I cannot disable the auto-resize and auto color adjust features that occur when I open an image.  I'm operating v 3.22.11

Hi @Dangerman333,

Thanks so much for your feedback — we're really sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with the latest Photoshop Express update on Windows. We know how important it is to have reliable tools, and your frustration is completely understandable.

We’ve shared your concerns with our product team, especially around the AI tool leaving artifacts, eraser problems, app crashes, and the lack of dark mode support. Your feedback helps us make meaningful improvements.

To help us better investigate and address these issues, could you please share a few more details?

  • What specific version of Photoshop Express are you using?

  • Do the crashes happen with all images or specific file types/sizes?

  • Could you describe what happens when you try to use the eraser tool?

  • Are you using any particular settings or filters when the app slows down or fails?

  • What OS version are you currently on?

Regards,

Tarun
