Pictures no long open in Adobe Express Editor

On Android (Pixel 10 Pro),  using Adobe Express to remove backgrounds from pictures works and I can replace with a solid color.  However, if I try to then open the picture in the editor, it just hangs on the exporting screen and never opens it there.

I have cleared cache, reinstalled the app, made sure everything on my phone is updated, etc.
