Possible Typeface Error

I believe there is an error with the Brushland typeface. When I type a name with two of the letter 'R' it gives two different types of the letter. It happens when one r is in the first name and the other is in the last name also. It does not appear to happen with other letters. Is this just how the brushland shows letters or should this be fixed?

It's how the font is designed. Fonts often have what are called Glyphs, or alternate characters. For exaample, when -er, -or, -ur, -th and other combinations of letters meet. I had a look in Illustrator at the Glyphs for Brushland and there are quite a lot - here's the one for the -er combination, which is why the second -r is different in Merrill.
