Pulling my illustrator files in wonky

Pulling the logo of my brand in but it's putting it on the page skewed. This isn't how it looks in illustrator and the issue doesn't resolve if I refresh the page or resave the file. I'm on Chrome.

I'm experiencing some issues with importing Illustrator files too. For example, a checkerboard graphic is not imported as squares, and sometimes the whole image won't retain its proportions. In addition, Express is only importing a single layer from an Illustrator file, instead of all the layers. This is not very useful. It was working fine as advertised two weeks ago, but not anymore. I have already reinstalled Illustrator, which seems to be a frequent occurrence these days. I'm using Safari on an Apple M3 Max.
