Remove background feature does not work

Whenever I upload a photo into the “remove background” feature, I get an error message and the feature does not work. I have tried many different photos and get the same error message.

This is currently happening to me as well. I use a iPhone for the adobe express app. Remove background does not work for my projects. I continue to get a try again message after clearing the cache, updating my phone, and reinstalling the app.

I am on IOS. I upload the photo, then get this error message. Then it just stays in a loading state indefinitely and doesn’t update. I have uploaded many images of these shirts before and successfully removed the background so I am not sure what changed.

Hi @Jay W. Olson Photo, are you still having issues with the Remove Background feature? I just tried using it on a desktop (Chrome browser), and it works fine with both in-editor and quick action workflow.

Would you be able to share a screen recording of the issue? That will help us better understand what you're experiencing.

Also, could you let us know which platform you're using?

iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Android phone/tablet
Desktop web browser (please mention which browser and its version)
