Remove Background for Video is Greyed Out

I have a 1.2 second clip that I am trying to remove the background of and when I upload it on the web app on my laptop (Mac OS 10.15.7, Firefox 123.0 [64-bit]) the Remove Background feature is greyed out. I have tried re-uploading it to no avail. I have tried waiting a few minutes to see if it just needed more time to process to no avail. I closed the project, exited the app, and re-opened the project, but a loading circle appears in the upper right hand project window and remains circling indefinitely. I tried signing in and re-uploading the video on a different browser (Chrome 121.0.6167.139 (Official Build) (x86_64)) and the exact same thing happened. I pay for this service so it is not blocked b a paywall. Please advise.

Hey, I would like to remove the background of a video in adobe express. There is a tutorial on the adobe website how to do this: https://helpx.adobe.com/express/create-and-edit-videos/edit-videos/remove-background-videos.html

However I see the right button, but what ever I try, the button is grey and doesn't work! 

Can anyone help me, please 🙏 Thank you!

Hello, it would be great if you can share a screenshot, since in new UI it's only possible to see the "remove background" button when the video is selected, otherwise there might be another issue, if you haven't tried with another video, I'd suggest so. I'm adding a screenshot also, feel free to update me, even if I can't help, some other expert might, happy designing!

Something happened to my Adobe Express. I know longer have access to the properties panel that would let me remove backgrounds from video. I've looked all over and this is all I get when I follow instructions. ( see photo) 

Also once I select a video I don't get the properties panel I used to get. 
Please help! This is pretty awful.

Initially, when I removed my video's background it was working fine but for a few days it's not working. Can you help me with that problem

Hi there,

 

Could you please help us with your Adobe ID? What happens when you try to remove the video background? Are you getting any error messages? Which browser are you using?

 

Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to check if that helps.
