Remove background function not working for months. “ Sorry, we were unable to remove background from this image. Please try re-uploading your asset.” error message and no troubleshooting helps

Months of the same error with no troubleshooting to point to - that's a fair thing to be worn down by.

That exact message ("unable to remove background, please re-upload") on every image you try is worth pinning down, because a tool that's just struggling with a hard photo usually gives a rough cutout, not a flat failure on everything. So a few things will help:

• Does it fail on genuinely different images — a simple, high-contrast one (clear subject, plain background) as well as busier shots?

• Are you on the web app or mobile, and which browser/OS or app version?

• Does it fail the moment you hit remove background, or after it thinks for a bit?

If even a clean, obvious-subject image throws that error, that points at something real rather than the photo - and that's what I'll take to the team. If you can, try one plain-background test image and let me know what happens.
