Remove object not working

Recently used the Remove object feature and noticed that while the credits were deducted, the output quality was unfortunately not usable. The AI left visible patches and distortions, which didn’t meet the quality I expected.

Since credits are deducted even if the result isn’t satisfactory, it feels discouraging to try again.

I totally get what you mean. I’ve noticed the same thing at times — the Remove Object tool can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the background or how complex the area is. Sometimes it blends really well, other times it leaves those patches you mentioned.

One trick that’s helped me is doing the removal in smaller sections instead of one big area, and then touching it up with the Clone/Heal tools afterwards. Not perfect, but it usually gives me a cleaner result.

Hopefully Adobe keeps improving it so we don’t feel like credits go to waste.

Hi @kkkhaos99,

We’re sorry the Remove Object results didn’t meet your expectations. We’ve shared your case with our engineering team for further investigation. In the meantime, you could try re-uploading the image and carefully marking the object edges to help the AI produce a cleaner result. If possible, please share the project link with granted edit access via DM—this will help our team analyze and fix the issue faster. Screenshots or a short recording of the problem are also beneficial.
