Resolução baixa em Uploads

Toda vez que tento fazer o upload de uma imagem do meu computador ao criar um novo conteúdo, a imagem demora para carregar e além disso é carregada em uma péssima resolução, com tamanho menor que a imagem original. O que está acontecendo?
