Search Files- works no problem. Try to select the searched for file- wont open (app or desktop).

Fair to be fed up, and noted on the cache, I won't send you in that circle. Files that show up in search but won't open when you click them is a real problem, so let's figure out where it's actually breaking.

A few things that would help, none of them the usual runaround:

• If you open the same file directly from Home or Your Stuff (not through search), does it open normally? That tells us whether it's search-specific or the files themselves.

• When you click a searched file and it won't open, does anything happen at all (a flash, a spinner, an error), or is it just dead? A screen recording would also be helpful here so I can see what you see!

• Is it every file that comes up in search, or only some?

• Are you on the web app or the desktop app, and what OS?

If the same files open fine when you go to them directly and only fail through search, that points at the search-to-open handoff specifically, which is exactly the kind of thing I can take to the team rather than have you keep poking at it.
