So many crashes after update Windows 11, version 24H2

Hi there,

Since my laptop had an update many of the Adobe programms have crashes or other issues, I am using the latests ones. For example many times while working on a project in Premiere Pro, it crashes out of the blue. When using Camera RAW-filter he gives an error and tells me that "the GPU has detected a memory error. Due to a runtme error, GPU acceleration has been reset to Limited for the remainder of the session" and when using Adobe Express I have to turn my graphic acceleration off to use it without crashing.

So I think there is an issue after the update with my GPU but I don't know what.

Can somebody help? It's getting a little frustrating...

With kind regards,

Carmen

Hi @Carmen37824824tt87,

Thanks for reaching out! After the Windows 11 (24H2) update, it’s possible that GPU drivers became unstable, which can cause crashes in Adobe apps.

Here’s what you can try:

  1. Update GPU drivers manually from the official NVIDIA/AMD/Intel site.

  2. Do a clean install of the driver to remove old settings.

  3. In each Adobe app, reset or disable GPU acceleration in the preferences.

  4. Check Windows > Optional Updates for any graphics-related patches.

For now, keep GPU acceleration off in Adobe Express if it improves stability. If you’d like us to track this further, feel free to share your Adobe account email via DM. We're here to help!
