Sound gone when downloading video

Hi,

I made a music video with original audio in .wav format uploaded to Adobe Express in the web browser. I used various stock footage available for me in Adobe Express as I am a paying subscriber.

Everything works and looks fine in the Adobe Express page but when I download the file (mp4) it has no sound. Any idea why?

I've tried different browsers and different computers but always the same result. It's REALLY frustrating because I've spent a lot of time on it.

Hi there
I have this issue too. All plays well in browser (Firefox and Chrome) but no audio when downloading it. Tested all kinds: Voiceover with a paid add on, Music from the library and direct voiceover from microphone. All works well inside Adobe Express, but no sound in the download.

Hi @Viola33162870ygz8,

Thanks for reporting this issue! We understand how frustrating it is when audio works in Adobe Express but not in the downloaded video. To help troubleshoot, could you confirm the export format you selected? Does this happen with all projects or only specific ones?

If possible, please share the project link with granted access via DM so our team can investigate directly. We’ve shared your case with our engineering team and will update you as soon as we have more information.

I am having that same issue. I made sure to check what was already mentioned in the thread and have replaced the audio tracks just in case and it is still missing the audio I want and moving up other parts of the audio I cut out. https://new.express.adobe.com/publishedV2/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:2b21cd0f-b408-4cef-ae8e-7092be342d84?promoid=Y69SGM5H&mv=other

Hi I've got the same issue. I see that this thread started back in September last year. Has this ever been resolved? And if so, can you let me know what the fix is? thanks.

Dear users,

If you have used the audio file from Your stuff -> Files -> Audio section, A place where uploaded files are kept.
Please avoid it for sometime until we have resolve the problem for you.

Workaround:
Please remove audio assets added to sceneline from uploads, and add them again from local computer.

Thanks for getting back! The audio track is enabled in the timeline, not muted. Everything plays in the previewer/builder as intended. When I download it to my desktop is when the voiceover track (m4a) is removed. The background music (downloaded from adobe stock within the adobe express builder) remains. I built a separate video with the exact specifications and have no trouble downloading all of its parts. This just started today. No extensions or plugins present.

We're sorry to hear about this. When editing the video in Adobe Express, did you check if the audio track is enabled in the timeline or muted in any part of the video?  In Adobe Express, does the audio play correctly when you preview the video before exporting?

Do you have browser extensions or plugins that could interfere with Adobe Express? Have you tried disabling them to see if it affects the export?

@Astonishing_Harmony16E5 , I have requested access to your project to investigate further.

Tarun
