Soundtrack volume does nothing

This is a really big bug! I can mute the audio layer in a multitrack video project, but changing the volume to 9% seems to still play at 100%!

Please fix. It's drowning out my video. (Note, audio volume control seems to work fine for the audio in videos in the main timeline).

I am having the exact same issue. I have a project that has music audio and a voice over, and adjusting either volume does absolutely nothing. They both sound like they are blasting away at 100%, so my voice over is getting drowned out to the music. Clearing cache and cookies did absolutely nothing. Frustrating, but glad to hear I am not the only one. Hope you get it resolved soon!

Hey @beth_3401, Thanks for reaching out! This shouldn't be happening!

With the recent update and feature releases in Adobe Express, you'd be able to use 'Enhance Audio'. It has been introduced to resolve such issues with some additional capabilities. You can find more details here: https://adobe.ly/4iLKof6

Let us know if you are still facing this issue.

Hi

@Matthew226471775x0c

,

 We're sorry to hear about the difficulties. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and restarting the browser and try again. For more information on how to clear cache and cookies check this link- https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF and how to use incognito mode- https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV

If that doesn't help, could you please share your project URL with me via private message? Private messages should be accessible from the envelope in the top right corner. This should be the direct URL
 https://adobe.ly/4loaQhl

Regards,

Tarun
