Text won't import

When I import an AI file, I'm having such trouble with the text/fonts importing with it. This file had a simple Source Sans Variable and all came through as rubbish so then I have to rebuild each page to make them into templates.

@default36008257tezj4p, thanks for letting us know. It looks like the issue is specific to some fonts (I'm able to reproduce the issue with Source Sans Variable, but not with Myriad Pro for example), so you could try changing the font in the Illustrator file as a workaround.

I've opened an issue with the team to get a long term solution together.
