the replace image feature is not working

when I choose replace video and upload a video from my computer, it just adds it as a new scene to the project instead of replacing the footage

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I tested this but it did work for me. Would it be possible to share a video recording or screenshots of your project? Does it happen in a new project too?
