TikTok Image to Video "Animation Generation Failed"

I've been using this feature for a few weeks and it has stopped working all of a sudden.

Steps to recreate

1. Choose TikTok Video for a project template

2. Select "Image to video" option from the right panel.

3. Choose an image that fits the specs

4. Choose one of the canned prompts

Expected result

Animation is created

Actual result

"Animation generation failed"

I tried with a blank new project, existing project and multiple images. Same results.

Help please.

Any update here from Adobe?

Same issue here. Even tried on two different devices. Seems to be an issue on either Adobe's or TikTok's end.

Hi @picsforthebirds @kimt6 @Qurv,

Could you please share a screen recording of the issue?

I am having this same issue. Was working perfectly a couple of days ago. Now when I try and generate video from image, it gets to about 11% then "animation generation failed".

The suggested fixes have not solved the problem on my side.

Actually, I just cleared cache. Same issue. I am using Chrome. I don't have another browser option.

Hi Tarun,

Unfortunately, I can't get a video of the error. It's simple though. I click "generate" when I submit the prompt, it gives me the loading circle for a few seconds, then panel reverts back to the input pic and prompt mode, and a grey box appears from the bottom of panel with the error message.

I tried incognito and it doesn't work. I really don't want to have to clear my cache because that's going to clear all my logins and other important information. Is there another workaround?

Hi @picsforthebirds,

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing. Is it possible for you to share the screen recording of the issue? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and restarting the browser and try again. For more information on how to clear cache and cookies check this link- https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF and how to use incognito mode- https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV

If the above-mentioned steps don't work,  please make sure that the network endpoints listed on https://adobe.ly/4a7ZI2M are allowed.

Regards,

Tarun
