Title Text is not able to be clicked on/edited

Issue: Student cannot click on header title text box to edit the content of the text
Product: Adobe Express (Web)
Platform: Edge (latest version) on HP-intel laptop (15t-fd000)

Steps:

  • Open an Express webpage
  • Click on “Header Title” 
  • Expected: active text editing cursor appears (line in text box that signifies ability to type), user types title text, and text appears
    Actual: user’s click/selection does not register and user is not able to edit

    Thanks for reporting this! I would love to dig in a little more to see if this is a bug!

    Could you let me know:

    • Does this happen in just one webpage project or all webpage projects?

    • Can the student edit other text elements on the page?

    • Does the issue persist after refreshing the project or opening it in an incognito window?

    • Are there any elements (images, shapes, backgrounds) layered over the title area?

    As a quick test, please try:

    1. Refreshing/reloading the project.

    2. Clearing the browser cache.

    3. Opening the project in an Edge InPrivate window or another supported browser such as Chrome.

    If you can share a screenshot or screen recording, we can take a closer look.
