Trying to edit an old project

While trying to update a duplicate of an old project file, I couldn't find my logos folder, couldn't resize elements, couldn't move one once I duplicated it, or change its shape. Is there any way to go back to the old version while these bugs are worked out? I don't want to have rebuild all my old project files.
