Unable to edit locked assets in artwork after making it a template and sharing with team members

Hello Tarun!
Thanks so much for the reply. I've shared links to one of the templates
I've created and shared with my Education department to publicize events at
their respective nature centers. As I mentioned in my previous message,
once I save my Express artwork as a template with locked elements and share
these files with my coworkers, I lose the ability to make any changes to
those locked elements. See the message that pops up below:

I attempted to duplicate the template like you suggested, but ran into the
same issue. When I try to approach the problem by editing the locked assets
within the Creative Cloud library and relinking these locked elements in
the template, nothing happens. I hate to lose all of the progress I've made
— is there any way to help your software recognize me as the template
author and allow me to make necessary changes to locked elements? It
would help me to maintain my file organization if the solution did not
involve duplication.
