video items covering full timeline instead of starting where my playhead is

Try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

every time i use spacebar to play or pause video, my timeline jumps down, also when i pause a video using the play icon , the timeline jumps down,it is fustrating and annoying
