Videos not uploading

Problem is only on my phone app (Android), used to be fine just uploading standard videos, but now it says in red unsupported file type. Phone is only a year old and this used to be fine. 

I checked and tried uploading old videos that had been fine to upload before and got the same message. It's been a week now.

I can upload the videos from my computer or laptop and it's fine, so I know the videos are supported.

I tried uninstalling the app and installing again and no change! I need this for my job and it's so irritating not being able to just upload straight from my phone. Photos still upload fine from phone.

Since you're able to upload videos from your desktop but not through the Android app, the issue appears to be specific to the mobile experience rather than your account. Please let us know the following information mentioned below-

    • Your Android device model.
    • Android OS version.
    • The app version you're using.
    • Whether you're seeing any error message when the upload fails.

    Could you please try the following?

    • Make sure you're using the latest version of the Android app.
    • Check that the app has permission to access your device's photos, videos, and storage.
    • Force close the app and restart your device.
    • Try uploading a different video file to see if the issue is file-specific.
