Voice over stops at the end of the scene

  • Issue summary: When I start making a voice over, everythings works out, but it stops recording, when the scene ends. Totally annoying, because some of the scenes are very short… Now it tooked even longer to make a good voice over and although it isn`t as good as it has been before the bug.
  • Product & version: Adobe Express (web)
  • Platform: Microsoft Edge, lastest version
  • Steps to reproduce:
    Making a video:
    1. Adding different scenes
    2. Producing voice over, try to make it longer then one of the scenes

  • Expected result: Voiceover should not interrupt, but continue
  • Actual result: Voiceover stops at the end of the scene

    Please fix that :(

Hi @Piepmatz1, thanks for sharing the detailed steps and information. I can understand how frustrating this would be.

This seems to be expected behavior, as voiceover recordings are tied to the active scene's duration rather than flowing across scenes. But for more insights, I’ll share it internally with the team for further review.

Until then, as a workaround, you could upload the audio directly rather than a voice-over, or increase the scene duration before recording the voice-over and adjust it afterward if needed.

I'll share the updates once I have them. Let us know if the workaround helps you.

    Best!
