We are unable to license some content

After spending over an hour designing an ad, I was met with the message: "We are unable to license some content. Please replace or delete the Asset and try again." Naturally, you do not indicate which asset is causing the issue or what the licensing problem is—so now I’m expected to go through and replace assets blindly. Why are there licensing issues at all when I’m on a Premium plan? Do you really believe your customers have that much time to waste?
An app that was supposed to make ad design easy has turned into a waste of my time. I’m cancelling my subscription.

Same problem! I downloaded the same file last week, no issues, now it gives me the replace or delete asset message, and when I click "replace" it doesn't point me to anything.

Hi @christy_8217,

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Would it be possible for you to share the document with me via private message so that I can investigate further with the edit access?

Hi @waldemarz77884531

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Just wanted to check if you tried clicking the Replace button.

In theory, that's supposed to select the asset that is causing the issue, though there is a known limitation/bug that prevents that from happening. It may be that you ran into that issue.

If that's the case, please send me a DM so we can set up file-sharing for me to investigate and locate the asset.

Thanks,

Abhi G

Hi there, Welcome to the community! We’re sorry to hear about this. Typically, this means that the licensing for some of the assets used in the file has changed and needs to be removed and updated. Please open the layers for the file, check for any blank layers (including audio tracks if this is a video project), and delete them. After deleting the blank layers you should no longer receive this error. They'll likely need to be edited and broken out. Regards, Tarun
