WEBSITE EDITS Autosave FAILED

I  have been working on a webpage edit for the last 5 hours, WITH NO WAY TO MANUALLY SAVE. relying purely on the unreliable cloud and adobe experience. And I lost 5 hours of work on a project due tomorrow. With what seems no resolution or way to recover this work. HOW DOES AN ERROR THIS HORRIFIC continue to happen!?
