When ever adding any Text to image, video or in a blank page i'm getting error "Something went wrong"

Whenever I open Adobe Express and click on any image, video, or try to create a new project, I consistently receive the error: “Something Went Wrong.”

This issue is affecting all users and colleagues on both Mac and Windows. I have already added the necessary WebSocket URLs to the Skyhigh proxy whitelist, but the problem persists. For example, out of 10 Windows users, only 1 can work properly, while the other 9 are affected.

Whitelisted  URLs in WebSocket list:

  • livecreate-cgw-an1.adobe.io
  • bifrost-prod-ew1.adobess.com
  • presence-cgw-an1.adobe.io

Given the consistent behaviour across multiple users and platforms, I believe this may be a bug. Could you please investigate this issue?

I was just about to highlight this as well @Saber Kinght

From my understanding my Safari browser gets a little picky(Apple IOS), I noticed when I switch a browser when this happens, it has helped me when i see this pop up on my end. It’s usually in the beginning of when i open an AE session, but its worthy to highlight as I prefer Safari at times than other browsers.

I have been noticing this for quite sometime as well, and have noticed this behavior in other Apps I use too. The most recent check i saw was when i was using AE Beta by the way.

Thanks for highlighting this possible what I think is a Kernel issue.

@Saber Kinght Could you please clarify when you are getting this message? Is it only when you are adding a new Text to a document? If yes, are you using the blue button from the attached pic for that action?

    Hi @Saber Kinght,

Thanks for reporting this. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Could you please let us know which browser and its version, and whether this happens across all files or a specific one? Please share your Adobe ID with me via private message.

Also, if possible, can you share a short screen recording of the error? That would also help investigate the issue further.

    Regards,

    Tarun

    Hey @Tarun Saini ,
Just a heads up only pngs/jpgs are compatible currently right now.
There is an option for embeds using adobes links is what ive been doing recently.

I noticed this would pop up on the tab when the misconfiguration for browser connection would pop up.

Also, as far as showing vids in the community, its only allowing images to upload in chat. Theres always adobe links to utilize.

    Hope this helps.
    Thx
