when i click on customize template the button is not working

When the "Customize Template" button is clicked, there is no response or action. The expected behavior is opening a customization menu or redirecting to a new page but that does not occur! This issue prevents me from accessing the template customization feature. please fix it , also the website is soooooooo slow and lagging
