Workspace is constantly shifting

The workspace is constantly shifting left to right when working with text, elements, etc. in the left hand panel. It's dizzying to work this way! Not sure if it's my zoom level or what, but when the scroll bar appears on the lefthand panel the artboard shifts.

This bothers me too. It's infuriating because I have to click away from elements to get them to "deselect" which shifts the entire workspace over. There's a lag between when I click and when it shifts, too, so if I select another element, the entire workspace shifts over and it selects the wrong element. This happens over and over again, all day long, and it is truly an abysmal user experience. I wish my work paid for Canva instead.
