"Zoom in" Looping Animation makes jittery movements when exported

I do some short reels/videos for socials. As I’m using background photos I give them a slight animation so that the elements don’t look so static, usually choosing between the “Zoom in” and “Zoom out” Looping animations.

When editing the videos the background zooms in or zooms out properly but, when the video is exported, the animated background does a little “jump” up and down every so seconds so the animation doesn’t look smooth.

Example

This has been happening since many months but the jitter doesn’t always happen. What could be the cause of this? Can you take a look?

Looking forward to your replying,

Mzz

Hi @ProfMozz, thanks for sharing the issue in detail. Since this has been happening intermittently for several months, I'd recommend trying these to see if they help fix it.

  • Try exporting in a different format (e.g., MP4 if you're using GIF, or vice versa). The jitter can sometimes be tied to how a specific format handles looping transitions.
  • Clear the browser’s cookies/cache and try exporting again from an Incognito/Private window, as cached data can occasionally interfere with export quality.

Meanwhile, I’ll share this internally to see if we can replicate and investigate the issue. We’ll share details once we have them.

Best!
