Lost points and can't download new assets

I had about 250+ points before the recent change (wow no warning, really?)

I'm working on a project and have a deadline very soon, so I figured I'd "subscribe" so I could at least complete the project before it's due but now I can't download any new assets even with a subscription. This is increadibly frustraiting and I can't see any real professional using substance in the future at this point.
